Default Advice on leopard gecko

Hi, jus need a bit of advice on how to fatten up my female leopard gecko, she eats fine but just isnt gaining any weight, ive tried pinkys but she wasnt interested she eats crix, locust, meal worm and wax worms! I just dont know why shes not putting any weight on, oh and i have to add she is healthy always running around and loves being played with... im quite confused!! x

my leo sometime doesnt eat but you have to put malworm insides in its nose and it starts lickin and then eats !
works for me lol

How old is she and whats her set up like along with the temps and substrate?

She is in a 2 foot Viv With a heat mat underneath and a red bulb at night! heat is around 86, and she is on kitchen roll but im about to change her on to fine sand, as i think it looks better! as for age to be honest im really not sure i got her from some1 on here and he got her off a friend of his as he was moving away! x

Try upping the temps to 90 this will help her digest her food properly.
If she isnt gaining weight properly i wouldnt change to sand yet as it just causes more... well it could be this and it could be that!

How are you gutloading your livefood, it may be that there is no nutrional value in the food your offering if not gut loaded!

Will try that thank you, and will leave the sand for a while too, erm i have a calcium dish and dust the food with something the guy at the local pet store reccomended (cant remember the name of it lol) x
