Thumbs up Just clear this up once and for all please!!!

Hi, that little white bit that comes with the leos pooh! Is that the urine??? Cant see why it would come out as a solid form if it is, but if it isnt. What is it?????

i always thought it was calcium but deff normal

its called urates and its kind of solid urine perfectly normal

yes it is their nitrogenous wastes in the form of 'urea salts'. It is much like that of birds showing that they are genetically still quite close on the evolutionary ladder...

Uric acid

Mammals get rid of nitrogen as urea. birds and reptiles as Ureates. They're not as soluble as urea.

Humans also produce uric acid. If they can't get rid of it it crystallizes in the joins and causes arthritis. These people have gout.
