i have been using the solar glo bulbs in my cham vivs. they are great.
i would only recommend them in large enclosures as they give off a lot of heat.
mine is in a 3x2x2 viv and the basking area is 100f.

Megaray brand bulbs are the best uv spots for sale in my opinion. Plus they're all tested before leaving the factory.

I would say go for the Megaray as well, the powersun are £25 dearer in my local shop than the Megarays.

Other option is to look at the Metal Halide Lamps, Megaray are due to release these soon

thanks guys, thats great...but keep em coming tho the more info the better as there isnt much info on these around, i will check some of thos other brands outas they sound good. so does having a mercury v.b mean that i wouldnt need to have a uva /b strip bulb then or should i use one aswell?? or is it ok on its own? like a sort of an all in one?? its for my juvenile male fijian iggy that i will be getting in a few weeks so i want it spot on and really nice for him. the enclosure is quite large around 4 feet long and 4 foot high and 2.5 wide i have made it so i can increas the size if he needs it as he grows just by moving the floor down one level as i have fitted little stoppers so the floor just slids in, its 6 foot high to the ground so there is lots of room to make the viv bigger, has any one an idea how oftern the bulbs should be changed ? im looking at getting a 100w or 125 w depends on brand and higher when the viv gets bigger.

you should go for the mega ray then they are great in big enclosures and last a lot longer than the power suns you dont need extra uv its all combined in one bulb.i got mine from america as at the time you couldnt get them here.here is the link you can check it out Welcome To ReptileUV - Mega-Ray® UVB lamps for reptile lighting worldwide
