Wiltons near Benfleet, £40 for a 6 month baby.

Some mixed reviews from various sites but they always looked well kept when I've visited on a variety of different times. Staff have been helpful and approachable.

A bloke was trading in his 2+ year Bosc as too big for him now and there's me buying one 8 or 9" a few minutes later. Seemed a little wrong or weird deep down thinking that could be me in years to come but I've read the threads, digested the information, slept on it and mused once more for weeks now.

First thing I thought when stroking this fella's mighty Bosc was that it felt like an old grannies foot. He was mid shed and a little dry to the touch with the wrinkled warmness?

I opted for this one as its got quite a narrow head, longish snout and quite a yellow colouration to his back. When it comes out into the open more I'll be spamming plenty of pics.

Well i ve figured out why my tegu has nt been eating much other than scrambled egg. His little belly is full of rat fur!! poor little thing, his previous owner(yes a rep shop) Must have fed a lot more than she let on, as i keep finding the undigested in his viv, he is still very shy and will only come out of hiding when i put his scrambled egg in, which is once a week as he isnt eating much of it, but i bet he has a full belly so with all the undigested fur!! poor baby!!

So as soon as he feeling a bit happier and his belly is emptier of this crap, im hoping for a different less shy tegu!!

i know paul who used to run the place (he still there on a weekend) and apart from when his hands are tied the animals are in good health and quality but some of his methods are old school but everything he tells you in good advise

sound like it just had a rat diet too, not many reptiles do digest the fur it just get mixed up and passed out unnoticed unless the defecate in the water you can see it floating some times, it should pass with out problem
