Hiya Buddy
Mine is not keen on crix, or locusts, does have a few tho, also has pachnodas, fluffs, bits of mice, bits of chick, fish, egg, shell less snails, got a good colony of roaches going, so he will be stuffing on them shortly.
I'm starting to think this may be a bit low and up the insects in the diet?[/

I wish I had all this and all them geckos at this age haha!

Tbh I'm more a fan of smaller collections though so I can focus on a few animals and spend more time with them. I'm down to just my young roughneck, royal python & a trio of pictus geckos at the moment

I used to have tokays, velvet geckos, dragons & a bunch more snakes but I cba with them all lol

Hiya Good Buddy
No both of mine are still active, and eating well, neither of mine have ever gone down, It can be prevented by given a longer photo period. Tegs do not have to hibernate in captivity.

Ah that's odd, mine goes mental for locusts. I love throwing in a bunch of adults and watching her run around after them as they hop/fly all over the place. She's always like "Shit, which one do I go for first... that one, no... that one!" BAM!

I've tried her on waxmoths and land snails too but didn't have much success with her being interested in either. When I do her egg I leave the shell in so she gets some calcium from it, but I throw some nutrobal onto the bugs once in a while for a boost.

May have to get some Dubias in and see how she takes em

i think mine is down to the rep room to be honest, it does get quite cold in there at night...and her only heating is the ceramic she has for basking, i turn it down to 85 at night as her "bed" is the other end of the viv...and at 85 under the hotspot it keeps the sleeping end at a pretty steady 72f...i may have to get some more heating for the night time ambients, as it may be dropping a tad low in the early hours...will have to dig out my old reptile radiator i think and set it up above her "bed"

I got a mate who's really into his raptors. I like them but I doubt I'd ever go down the route of keeping birds... too much effort lol

Nice to see such a wide variety of geckos & monitors all in one place though
