well ive been reading up on boscs and although it tells you what to feed them it doesnt really tell you how much, you prob remembeer me on about my rescue bosc big daddy,hes just over 2ft he will talk a weaner rat,but only 1 a day,he also enjoyed a bit of silverside but not much,insects walk all over him he just closes his eyes,didnt seem much interested in the duckling i offered, he really need to put some weight on as i can really feel his ribs,any suggestions on food and how much,cheers.

p.s i find hell eat for 3 days then dont for 2.

If he is 2ft he still has a lot of growing to do first and formost check temps , around 85f ambient and 115f to 125f , you can feed mice,small rats, chicks , snails , locusts , roache's , lean turkey with calcium/vit supplement on , prawns , occasional freshwater fish , i wouldent feed silverside though

Was meant to say 115f to 125f "Hotspot"

out of curiosity why not silverside,ive been going on what a friend have sed cos hes had his a yr,although i listen to his advise theres only some i put into action if u get my drift,temp is 130 directly under spot warm end around 90 and cool end about 82-86,he has a hide both ends but always chooses warm end.how much food would you give in lets say a wk?

Default Big girl

she's very overweight,I've got her on a diet.bought her 2wk ago to go with my male she's actualy lost some weight she was just a round ball,very sad to see them like that

The males great loves being out in the garden for a walk.
The shed took me a while to do but worth every minute and
