I haven't found any Ackie poop since Saturday (when I got the guys). I know they've been eating, I've seen them with my own eyes munching down on crickets. Is it normal that they haven't pooped yet? There might be some under the big hide log but I don't want to lift it up and disturb them (one of the Ackies spends a lot of time under there if he isn't basking).

Sorry for the repost

Thanks

They're real characters. One has found a peice of loose bark at the top of the basking log. He sits under there most of the day, getting heat and UV while playing it safe. In fact, he only comes out to eat and ocassionally explore!

The other, well he's totally mad. Running around, climbing, launching himself at crickets. But he goes to bed nice and early.

Wow, these two are great

Thanks bud there both stunning but my favourite type monitors are still the waters , i think they epitomize my view on what a monitor lizard looks like from my very early childhood and seeing them at Chester zoo many (in-fact too many ) moons ago , im pretty sure there are also quite a few people who have seen them (prob niles) on documentaries over the years and have been fascinated with them as i have

Snap, but for me its watching Life on Earth and the likes with Attenborough when I was a kid. I was all excited a few years back as Colchester Zoo has a large Komodo enclosure and reptile house, didn't know that they were about the size of a Beardie (ok slightly larger, but not the huge giants). Still hung around a longer in there than the rest of the entire zoo.

I am often found laying on the floor staring at my Bosc, if only he'd do something, anything...but sleep!

They do tend to snooze a hell of a lot even when warm enough they slide off to a cooler spot and............sleep lol , then suddenly spring into life when you throw some locusts/snails/roaches in have a mad half hour then.............sleeeeepp again

I agree totally, the OH too, the waters are just incredible monitors, the look, size, everything about them puts a smile on the face and a fuzzy feeling in the chest
One day, one day I will have one!
