Has anyone noticed a behavioural difference between Tegus & Boscs? Not saying as in aggression as such but in general one usually being more active but also aggression could be factored in? I still can't for the life of me decide which to get first....

I must agree to an extent as my bosc,s have a large enclosure and they walk from there hide to the basking spot and back and thats about it LOL except when feeding and as shane has already said when out for a walkabout

my little girl, is moving a lot, but it is as MM said from her hide to the basking spot and back again.

but last night, i thought i would get her out, well she got out, she leaped from the viv onto the floor and just slowly mooched about not being aggressive or anything she even let me stroke her without tail whipping so i pick her up and jesus she can run quick i have never seen anything like it, she ran the whole length of my living room to the sofa and i hadnt even got up form the floor, so as she is small i had to grab her which she had her mouth open ready to bite but after 5 seconds she calmed right down.

and had nice sritches on the back of the head. but then i felt my leg was all wet i had a look and she poo'd on me, but i think it is a good sign that she is calming nicely.

oh yeah sorry for the long post but when a tegu closes its eyes when you are rubbing her head or back does that means she likes it and that she trusts me a little to close her eyes?
