Just out of curiosity, I'm thinking about trying the teg on egg - how do you guys prepare it? Boiled /w shell, boiled without shell, raw with shell, raw without shell, just yolk etc etc?

from what i got told, boil it and give with the shell as the shell give the teg extra calcium, but you could always scramble it

Ah cutest sight. Just sat over watching the Teg and she went to clamber into her food bowl and took a bit of fruit shook it about n ate some. So she's eating some fruit n veg now - She's still not impressed with locusts/cricks/dubias though just snails, fruit n veg so far lol.

I wont give reps raw eggs..as they can carry salmonella..which can be passed on to humans from the reps

Thanks and how much would you feed in a single feeding for a Tegu just short of 2ft, and could I feed Ox heart once a week/fortnight or less.
