Pheonix decided to bury himself in the substrate, i think because he had no high level hides so now i've added some for him. Thought i'd lost the little sod

CHEERS MM,
his tail is predominantly curled up when still they do this for protection and do not tail whip, as it won't regenerate if broken, it's a vital aid to their ability to climb ans often i see him hanging by it wraped around a branch while he reaches for his next perch.
he is soooooooo much more active in the new viv, just wish he'd stop burying himself in the substrate and freaking me out

Nice! They look like a friendly bunch.
Love the name Veigo. Let us know when the new arrival comes in

I took Cygnus out yesturday, and he's never been outside before, it was always too cold. yesturday was nice and hot and The Savannah monitor climbed under a tree and laid in the soil, but Siggy kept walking around exploring, which I liked. I thought he was trying to army-crawl through the grass, lol, turns out he was trying to rub his harness off. Didn't work, but at least he got a little bit of sunbathing in and the neighbours walking by all wanted to pet him.
It was fun, he seemed to enjoy himself.
