Question. I note you have a Nile Monitor there. Tell me, are they as nasty as the caresheets make them out to be? I have a chance of picking up a baby but need to do the homework firstly. I do already have an Argus, a White Throat and an Asian Water. Any advise appreciated? I should point out that I think it is an Ornate with 7 bands on the body.

Cheers
Niles aint as bad as most make out, they just rarely tolerate interaction solely because they are very fearful aswell as fearless. Here are a few of mine.

Cheers I absolutely love Niles what is it that makes you/her want an ornate? commons are just as pretty, especially some of the high yellows (Tanzanian) and the Blues (Egyptian). Ornates down where I am are just as common as normals and not alot of difference in price. What size are you after I'll have an ask about?

Niles are awesome, I would have one tomorrow if I could adequatley house one. I have a few areas left to fill yet, for a pair of mangroves, then need to find a she Argus for Stompa, and a female Roughie for Zippo. I may then start either a Shed or a loft conversion, the it will be Waters & Niles.

She wants an ornate cos she believes that they are generally the calmer of the 2,and likes the look of them, not as spotty she says, wants a baby the smaller the better
