i've heard of people using live fish in large water bowels for water monitors, and the monitors have helped themselves to a few, apparently its quite good for them, never tried it myself but can see how it may benefit them, adding some more variety and they would likely try and feed on fish in the wild if they came across one when swimming.

And its not just here that i've read about tegu's eating frogs. i was thinking the same thing for mine, as he loves chasing locusts.

Surely some frog spawn, then grow your own frogs, least you can control the environment they are in, same with fish.

Would boscs eat frogs? They eat scorpions and giant millipedes in the wild.

Hiya buddy
Have a good scan through monitor mads albums in his profile, there are some cracking piccies in there which will probably help you decide, as young monitors are easy to house, where as the adults arn't. Monitor mad has given up his entire loft space to house 5 beauties, now thats some space mate.
