Ive not owned a cham befor myself however I have seen lots of cham enclosures which are just those Exo terra netting enclosures. the chams appear to be pretty happy in these.
You have to howevere take into consideration if keeping it in a net enclsoure that it will be very open therefor lots of hidy places should be available for it when you do set it all up.

yep, best option is a screen enclosure. you could use flexarium by exo terra or aluminum custom build cage.

Thats a good point! the netting acts as a method of environmental enrichment too as the chams can climb all over it.

its okay as the babies will climb up to the light if they need it and can get away from it if needed so i think it is okay.

Personally I can't stand flexariums, I think they look naff and they don't even have a proper door, you have to unzip the net.

Having said that i'd still advise an all screen enclosure as chams need good air flow and glass enclosures lead to stagnant air which in turn lead to respiratory infection, this can be avoided if you at least provide one side with mesh.

I got my cage imported from America, this one in fact 24 x 24 x 48 inch Aluminum Screen Cage the pound was strong at the time and cost me £60, including p&p, the same price you'd pay for a flexarium. If you do a search for threads started by me there's a pic of it setup. Personally I think it looks the business as it's a perfect size and I can see him really well, I can barely see in the cage in all the pics i've seen of flexariums but each to their own I suppose.

It may be £10-£15 more because the pound has weakened but it's still a good buy I think. Mine arrived within a week and they kindly marked it as a gift so no customs charges .
