Default which is the best secure, escape proof viv..

As above, looking at getting some electric geckos after christmas, obviously very small, so need very secure vivs.

One that has no holes in it No, most vivs can be suitable for electric geckos, as l ong as they are solidly built, all vents are securely fastned/siliconed into their holes, doors fit well, be it sliding or forward opening like in an exoterra, if using a melemine viv runnes can be stuck up the sides of the viv forming channel for the glass to locate into when closed. The main way of stopping them escaping is being vidulant when the viv is open an densuring you close the doors proparly.

The exos are good vivs, but there are two potential problems with them in this case.
1) Fruit flies and very small crickets (food) can escape them unless you find a way to seal the gaps.
2) If they glue their eggs in the wrong spot, you will potentially lose the use of at least one door until incubation is over.

I have no experience with them, but there are a couple of keepers on here that may be able to recommend a good viv for them...

i have a pair which i keep in a exo terra, i would say there pretty much escape proof but the small crics and fruit flys will get out. to be a bit more secure i put a bead of silicon sealant down the sides of two doors because of the gap

ps if you decide to use the rock background make sure you plug the two gaps at the top to stop them going down. my male ended up stuck near the bottom and i had to help him back up
