Default My baby Leo is a fool.

For Christmas my huby bought me a background for my Gecko's viv, well twice i have found my smallest Leo behind it. the first time she wasn't down there for many minutes but today i looked first thing, about 8am & saw her in one of the hides, but about 3.30 this afternoon I looked & could see her, so striped the viv & still didn't find her, so took out the background, there is about a 1/2 inch bit at the top as the b/ground is shorter than the viv is. She climbes up & falls down the back then can't get back up as the back of it is shiney. I got her out & she was so cold, i held her in my hands for about 1/2 an hour to warm her up a bit, she went to sleep in my hands. My husband has stuffed the top with pieces of the b/ground that was cut off, (it was slightly too long for the viv)so hopefully she wont be able to get there again. Hope not anyway, i might find her dead next time. She could of been down there for about 8 hours.
Marg.

My oh has wedged things into the space at the top to stop it going forward but i will still be able to remove it for cleaning, it can't happen again as it is in wedged tight now. It is very frightening when you can't find her in the viv, i knew she was in there as there are no holes & the glass doors were closed, (apart from the vents)

i used to used fish tanks and tank backgrounds, as you can get dessert/jungle theme back grounds.
