Default Q on faecal test and parasites in bds

hi everyone,
I've got two bds, both male. they were housed together and in the last month I've seperated them. one was always smaller but always did nice poops lol and ate very well so thought nothing about it really but since the move he's still been eating like a champ but his poop and the other has become a splat attack so I'm thinking they both have internal parasites of some sort and the stress of the move made it worse.

anyway, wrang my vet to ask how much a faecal was and he said £50 for one... does this sound right to you guys?? how much do you guys pay for yours?
And how much does the treatment cost? I just want to get an idea so I can fit my expenses around it, they are getting treated this month I don't care. just thought if it seems a bit much I would try a diff vet as he doesn't seem to do many reps anyway, took me 4 calls to find out if he treats beardies as the receptionists didnt know.

If anyone can suggest a good vet for my beardies in the isleworth vacinity I would be grateful, thanks.

lol you would have thought!!

hmm, maybe I'll do a ring round. mind you he told me to just put both samples together and mix it lol, he said they would both have it anyway and would both need treatment so it would save me getting two done so it might be less in the long run. sounds a bit wrong to me but then I'm not a vet plus he didn't even ask if they were housed together (which they are not... cough cough . anymore lol)

thanks anywayz, lets hope I get some more answers for an average.
