By some peoples thinking there are probably quite a few moonglows about, whereas other people wonder if a true moonglow even exists.

If you just want an animal that goes really pale when fired up then i have one and so do a few other people on here but if like me and most other crestie breeders you think a moonglow has to stay very pale/white all the time then ive never heard of one in the uk and only ever seen 1 or 2 in america.

that depends how u see it though as you mentioned yourself..
i sold one pale as pale can be creamy grey last year with the odd moonglow blue eyeshadow they talk about above its eyes.. certainly it was paler than the one in this thread and the definitive blue was there... However since I dont hold with the morph as such I sold her at a normal price...

granted it was an american import before I got it so who knows what bloodlines it came from and its the single only crestie I have ever seen with blue pigmentation around its eyes and a pale grey white body.... personally I think moonglows are just pale buckskins.. i have yet to see a white crestie.. and unless they fire up PALER at night or stay the same pale cream or grey.. than by day then i have seen plenty of cresties who are very pale by day.. with only a tinge of colour at night I still dont consider them moonglow..

so it depends on the definition I agree

show me a truly white crestie... and then i will be happy calling it moonglow anyhting else is just shades of beige pale pink and grey
