Talking Monitors yes. Tegus no

Looks like a Tegu is in need of a home (thanks for thinking about me Christine) and I said yes.

Looks like we'll be picking Diego up this coming week but, have I had experience looking after monitors on a day to day basis? Yes. Can I say the same fopr Tegus? No.

Looks like I have a few more things to learn (again).

So, be prepared season Tegu keepers. I shall be out to get some advice as I venture into the worl of Tegu Keeping. Midnightworrior springs to mind as a first, but I know of a few more out there who have a wealth of experience with them.

Here'a pic of him (suspected boy I am told) taken back in November (about 20 inches now though)

He's got a great character (we met in December) and Hayley and I look forward to working with him.

Thanks for reading.

Cheers

Nope not a mansion but luckily we have 4 rooms that can be used for reptiles. That's a great help. We're onto rep room 2 now but with the next couple of larger vivs that will be made it won't be lon before they are filled.

Well done mate , im pretty sure your experience with monitors will stand you in good stead "obviously" as with any new venture into a different species there will be a lot of new things also to pick up

Cheers guys.

My bank balance is going to be hit so hard with the additional food bill and future viv requirements.

Still, lovely looking chap. We're looking forward to taking care if him.
