Default Musical Therapy?

I made a thread a year or so ago about my female leo Kate. She was three years at the time and had stopped eating - it wasn't during winter so I was convinced it wasn't brumation, and if she ate something she pooped at the normal rate so her system hadn't slowed and her metabolism was normal - she just wasn't eating. I tried everything - from changing her food stuffs to changing the time of day/night I fed her to how often and anything else I could think of. Nothing worked. Eventually she started losing weight on her tail and I was frantic. The vets had done the fecal sample and there weren't any parasites etc so we were all stumped. Then one night, when I thought I'd only have a short time left with her, I started singing while attempting to feed - almost a goodbye in a way. and to my suprise she started eating! She took as much as I offered her, which was four hoppers. I didn't want to overload her as it'd been so long since she'd last eaten so I limited her to that, then the next day she wouldn't eat, I started singing and she ate! I also increased her activites when handling so she'd get hungrier by being more active and soon enough she was back to perfect health

Well, this year she's decided to brumate and my heart was racing the first couple of days she didn't eat fearing she'd reverted back to her old ways, but since the patterns are there for brumation rather than whatever she did last time I'm not so worried.

The reason for making this post is... well she's never been the most active of girls and is quite timid when handling, but whenever I have the radio on she's running around the bed like a nutter. I've noticed my fat tail is also tuning into her way of behaving. He's a general shy fat tail and likes to be handled but tends to just curl up in your hand and go to sleep whereas earlier when I had Kate out and had the music on, he came out of his hide and was moving along the side of the viv like what's going on lol.

Has anyone else experienced any musical phenomena? It does seem to be specific to Kate and Fraz (the fat tail) as Magnum and Jimmy don't seem to be affected in any way by it. That said they're both outgoing personalities and eat/shed with no problems at all. So do you think it's something to do with the shyer ones?

It's just something I was thinking about as the music came on

Sorry for the long post lol but I'd be interested to see your ideas.

One of my horses was a rescue, he'd been imported from Ireland.
He was very depressed so my mam thought he may have been home sick. So she bought an Irish folk music CD. We played it and if I adnt have sene it I wouldnt have believed it... but he crossed his back hooves and started tapping!

He cheered up shortly after!
