Question Locusts & Plants

I had an escapee who I found on my chrysanthemums, chomping away, it has eaten about half a flower, will this locust be safe to fed my beardy or should I just chuck it?
TIA

Joy

no chuck it
chrysanthemums are a member of the family of plants that they derive pyrithium(not sure of spelling)from from that they turn it into a insecticide
