Default Bosc+Tegu ?

has anyone got a bosc or b&w-tegu as you first lizard ?
was it hard, did you struggle or was it fine?
just curious as im considering it but in my gut i think i should get something smaller first..
thanks
ive researched them alot and i can meet there needs etc.

ghet something bomb proof i told you you wont listen its like getting a green tree python as a first snake. get something bomb proof like a leopard gecko and go from there.
as i said on msn you dont start with a gtp, you get a corn snake then a boa then a gtp to get experience i wish you would listen i dont always talk crap

yeah agread ive got tegus their really not the best starter lizard! my male "decided" he didnt wanna be in his viv today and created a new door through 18mm ply

With the right attitude, space AND finances I personally see no reason what is wrong with getting a Bosc for a first lizard.

All that concerns me is this OP, and please do not take offence by this. You appear, in your threads to flit between stuff like this and asking loads of questions about BIG snakes too. What is it you're after? Just something big? If so, perhaps you would be better off focusing your attention on one thing and doing all the related learning that it involves.

As said already not really a starter lizard but meet some untame ones and decide if you really want something like that then go from there.

But to be honest provided you do lots of research first like 6 months worth meet some tegus/boscs of varying temperaments then go from there.

I went like this leopard gecko - BOSC straight away i loved every minute of it but there not for everyone.

Also if you decide to get a bosc consider rehoming one

Im not really into my beardies but the OH loves them i prefer monitors and tegus myself do some research see you how you feel and go from there.

i dont look for something 'big' i know people think it but i really dont buy these animals to show off.
also i do plan on getting a big snake but not yet i just want to make sure im prepared for when the time comes
