Default Patternless Whiteout Fat Tail Gecko(has a true blue tail tip!)

Was searching around on youtube, and found this video of a new morph called a Patternless Whiteout Fat Tail Gecko, I love the colour on these and pattern.

YouTube - New Morph Blue Tail Fat Tail Gecko

What does everyone think of them?

The white outs are lovely, i would like one of those, shame they are over the pond.
The poor gecko with the blue tail looked a bit frightened, he was being pushed around a bit too, poor thing.

I thought that too! Poor little sod was being a bit moved along!

Cute though. x

Why breed an unhealthy animal? - Get the idea yet?

DO YOUR READING BEFORE YOU START BREEDING!

GlasgowGecko: IF you breed two animals and the resulting offspring exhibit reduced fitness, you MUST purge the system (this does not mean termination, but they should NEVER be bred). This is the only way to get passed it.

Is it really so hard to do some reading, use some common sense and ask a few questions BEFORE you buy the animal?

If I knew anything at all about importing, I'd love to pick up a pair of breeding white-outs

yes very pretty but this i why i HATE shows.. those poor wee things in tiny deli cups absolutely heartbreaking...

I appreciate large breeders cant keep them or sell them like small hobbyists but seriously.. some space and access to water should be MINIMUM.

the issue here is breeders are elevated to some sort of pedastool.. being applauded for making new colours and not being applauded for providing optimum care and husbandry.. its a bloody shame

just watched the video again.. it looks extremely pale greyish not really blue but i spose if u looked really hard there may be a very slight pigmentation.. whatever the colour it is a gorgeous gecko.. just a shame as i said the way they are being transported and shown at the show

Absolutely! I'm glad someone else said what I was thinking.

Quite frankly, if someone treated any of my leos that way, I'd deck 'em for it (she said, forgetting her pacifist leanings for once...)

you will find i will always err on the side of the animals.. so many of us place way way too much importance on new colours and patterns .. where the heck is animal care in all this.. just because an animal is alive dos not mean its well cared for.. just because a breeder can get two animalos to mate and stick their eggs in an incubator does not mean they are providing optimum care and environments..

some breeders genuinely provide great care and attention to their breeding animals.. some see them as comodities and whilst thats understandable there is a definite line that is crossed when their worth becomes more important than their needs...when their ability to even MOVE in a tiny plastic tub is hindered thats a crossed line for me.... its beyond the pale.. no matter how long for.. that way of showing presenting and displaying is horrible..

the Uk shows at least request a minimum standard of the reptiles to have water available and a hide incase of stress. thats not to say every persontaking an animal to a Uk show does this and i wont attend Uk shows either due to overheating issues , over crowding and poor show husbandry... however the poor animal could have dropped its tail with all that messing about.. then how would the stupid breeder have felt.. the breeders prized perfect animal dropping its tail cos its being poked proded and kept in nothing more than a TINY tub all day..

lets all give that type of systema round of applause.. and please dont anyone try to persuede me cos these peopel can rpoduce animals worth thousands of pounds and the next new fancy morph they are to be held in high regard..

people do not breed animals as such.... the animals do it by themselves we just collet the eggs and wait for them to hatch.. and work out genetically what ones wil produce what and how to price them.. how we TREAT the animals is way more important in my book

bun then who am i.. im just a lowly small time keeper.. not producing fancy leo morphs worth thousands eh?

Perfect statement. And I full heartedly agree. It is a gorgeous gecko, but did you see how he kept poking it in the face? If i was the gecko i would have bitten him many a times for that alone.
