Default What i have noticed recently!

I have noticed that there seems to be a quite large interest in stenos recently and im loving it.

These are underated animals and hopefully the more people interested in them the more chance we can start captive breeding them more!!

Amazing critters and everyone should get some!!

im hoping to eventually extend our colony.

i was thinking of a 4foot viv to go ontop of my leos but we have petriis which are quite hard to find, however if ours breed then i can increase the colony with CB babys!!!

We struggled when we first were after them to find any decent care sheets.

We found 2 in a local shop and fell in love and we both spent ages researching them and then decided to go for it and loved them ever since.

The other problem we found with them was the naming of them. one shop had them put up under the latin name which was brilliant but the other had them down as jeweled ground geckos which didnt help us at all trying to research them

They love digging! we have ours on play sand and i have it like dunes in the viv but they soon sort that out.

We have a water bowl in the viv however i have never seen them drink from it but im happier to have one in with them.

they love their food, we feed ours crickets and the odd waxie as a treat!
