crypto = ammonia is evil.

last week we lost a gecko to crypto and got told to use 5% ammonia neat to kill the crypto.

We have just used 9% ammonia neat and are leaving it on for 30min and it nearly killed us off. That is nasty stuff and if that dont kill it i dont know what will as i am not using anything stonger unless i have an oxygen mask.

youve nearly used double the % maybe thats why..
but no its not nice.

LOL did you use it indoors the one fom Robert dyas is vile I use that on any 2nd had stuff just to be safe LOl poor you sore eyes all round

Even used outside it does you in

I had the same prob I once sniffed it LOl not an experience i'm wanting to repeat LOL

Yeah I did use it once, awful. I guess special mask is needed lol. But yes it will kill crypto

damn wants to. My OH brought it in town while i was out and i got a text to say that he has opened the lid and smelt it. stating it nearly killed him, smells bad etc.

dont have any masks so we made one out of a t-shirt and a pair of boxers but even with them round your nose and mouth you could still smell it.

LOl when you sniff it its so bad its nearly knocks you out not sure why but all humans first time they use it seem to sniff it me included LOL no sure why we all have a death wish LOL

we now have two bottles of the stuff and i refuse to have it anyway near my room just incase it leaks. It reminds me of rotten eggs x 1billion. It really horrible. i can honestly say i didnt stick my nose in there you dont have too. just taking the lid off it enough to get a horrible nose ful.
