Thumbs down Bd Health Problems - Please Help

After recently finding out my Bd is actually 4 weeks old and not the 4 months the pet shot told me i am quite worried as ive read they are ment to be sold at 9 weeks.

He is basically stopped eating and got very sluggish.

I know Bd's bask but he has lay there (through the night) on the same stick.

When i opened the viv the viv to put the small locusts in and he didnt react at all. Kept his eyes closed.

I know i shouldnt of disturbed him but i was getting quite scared so i gently stroked him .. he seen a locust followed it with his eyes and then closed his eyes again.

I counted the amount of stuff i out in and he hasnt moved and definatly not touched anything.

Now i know he is still settling in but as he's 4 weeks old (Estimation) and doesnt look like he has much meat on him i dont think he could go 3 night without eating.

Should i take him to the vets?..Does anybody know a good Reptile vet in the north-east? wacky69 if you come onto this thread could you leave the name of the vets you use please.

Thanks.

James.

5" sounds about right for a 4 week old... they are usually 6-8" by the time they're 6 weeks, although it can depend on the individual beardie.

I personally use really simple setups for babies, to encourage them to eat. Literally a rock under the basking light and a rock in the cool end to perch on / hide behind and not a lot else. This way they spend most of their time on the floor (where the food tends to be).

Are you sure that the locusts are the right size for him? What are the temperatures in the cage? Is the stick under the basking light?

They locusts are the smallest size you can get from the pet shop.

108 in the basking area.. 85 at the cool end.

And yes it under the basking light but the fact that he hasnt made a effort for food worried me.

And i got my Bd forma local pet shop which i will never enter again.
