any 1 useing a arcadia 12%??

hi i am wantin 2 noo about arcadias 12% uvb if u have got 1 of these can ya please tell me wat they are like as i have 10.0 reptiglo

We started using the arcadia 12% after hearing about the reptiglo (or was it reptisun?) bulbs causing problems with animals eyes. They seem to end up being more active with the arcadia. Personally I think it produces a nicer colour light too.

I've been looking at these for my beardie but a bit unsure if 12% would be too high? Maybe a misconception possibly, would be nice to hear from others using this high powered light...

I also remember Hades (Hadesdragons) recommending them. Not sure if that helps anyone.

I use these in all my beardie vivs! They last a year + 100 hours! 12% is deffinatly not too high.

Well thankyou Anna very much. Glad someone can confirm how good these bulbs are. I'm upgrading my beardie into a 48 vivexotic next week hopefully and will be buying this bulb for him. Once again thankyou...

funny u shud say tht about havin problems with eyes on beardies coz myn seems 2 be closing thm alot since i have being useing a 10.0 reptiglo here he is in his new vivexotic ex 55

i have an arcadia 12% tube In one of my WDs tanks is that the ones were talking about... if so 12% is not too high at all really... not if u read the Uv reports

if so im changing all my dirunal lizards to these and doing away with compacts..
