Default Sexing Australian velvet geckos

Hi,

Before anyone says it.... I know there is a sticky on this page about sexing Australian gecko species, but the picture no longer seems to be there - at least I can't see it on this computer.

Just wondering if anyone has photos of a male and female oedura monilis (Australian velvet gecko) or something similar that will help me double check the sex of mine. I bought them as a pair (both nearly a year old at the time so it should have been clear enough for someone who knows what to look for!), but now I'm starting to wonder, as when I look at the area around their back legs and tail, I can't really see any difference. It doesn't help that they don't like staying still! Every now and then there is a bit of "squeaking" from them, when they seem to have had a minor disagreement over territory or food or something. It had me concerned they might both be male, but I don't think this can be the case as they've lived together for over a year now and I've never witnessed anything more than that. My other thought was that it could be the male? trying to mate with the female? and her saying "no thank you"! The viv they are in is plenty big enough for them to get away from each other and hide anyway, but I'm curious as I would like to get them breeding. If it turns out they are both female, I know of somewhere with a bargain male...

Any help would be much appreciated.

And I've told you a million times, it's bloody impossible to get photos of them which show anything in detail cos they don't hold still, and you can't see properly through the underside of a plastic tub.

You should also email pictures to where you got them from considering they breed them! (that's the lizard wizard by the way- great people to deal with for those that haven't heard of them)

How about a clear plastic box rather than a rub? Ever think of that silly girl?

Has anyone got any ideas please? Would two males have been fighting with each other?

Thanks.
I'm pretty sure they are both female having had another look at them, and finally managing to find a link to a picture of male and female oedura bits on a gecko forum somewhere. They both have a tiny bulge at their tailbase, but nothing I would consider as 'big-balled'!
