Default Lobster roaches

I just thought i would share with you all that i brought some lobster roaches to try my beardie on and my god did he love them, he even jumped into the plastic tub to eat them all lol (greedy little thing) so for anyone whos like me and cant stand crickets (horrible things) get some roaches.

i feed them too, i got a culture so i could feed some of the smaller ones to leo aswell, they breed really easily.....

and me...i just breed em! find them fascinating. non of my lot really like em!!! but they are pretty fussy.

roaches are a great food source....

I feed them aswell My beardie goes crazy for them. How cute are the wee babies awwww

I've got some too, had about four lots of babies in the last fortnight!
Unfortunatley I still have to buy Locusts atm because I've only got about 20 adults.

well as it happenz i just had my 300 culture today! Fascinating little things aren't they? They are a little on the small side so gonna have to get the breeding before my dragons can tuck into them

thinking of trying some, as my beardie is fussy eater at the moment....

few questions:-

do they smell?
are they nocturnal like crickets?
do they try and hide in the viv like crickets?

They smell kinda sweet
They are nocturnal
and yes they hide really really well!

they are very cool...

I've just ordered 300 aswell so cant wait to breed them so i can get rid of crickets lol

They breed like little demons...just make sure you put plenty of vaseline round the rim of the tub! or you will have escapees everywhere...
