Reptile shops in scotland

Hi, Does any one know of any good reliable reptile shops on the west of scotland, Just moved house and looking to get a couple more Geckos.

Theres Neon gecko is Glasgow which has a mixed reputation. Theres a quality one in Dunfermline called Serpentus Exotics, but isnt exactly West of Scotland. Maybe look for private breeders in the area.

theres a pet shop in bishopbriggs that has a few different lizard

think its just called huntershill pet shop its on crow road in bishopbriggs also theres 1 in the forge shopping centre right up the bak in the little arcade bit last time a was there about 2 months ago they had a few lizards 2 hope this helps

Personally, I wouldn't use the guy in the forge. He is a rip off merchant. His animals are far too overpriced and his snakes are often mis-labelled i.e selling normal corns as crimson corns and asking £80 for them.
I, myself, have had problems with Neon Gecko - namely them selling me a sick animal but as Zak has mentioned they have a mixed reputation. So it is your choice.
There is a pet shop in Airdie - I believe it is called 'The Pet Shop' - it's on main st. I haven't been there but have heard they have a good variety.
Creature Comforts in Cardonald also stocks exotics but I have heard some bad things about them too.
Your best bet is to get on one of the Scottish forums and meet some private breeders that way. I know of a few but mostly snake breeders as I don't keep lizards. Good luck.
Oh, there is also Rintouls in Bathgate if you can be bothered making the trip.

I echo the statement about neon gecko.. both the paisley and glasgow barras shop. There are too many issues to list here but personally wouldnt use them if they were the last reptile shop on earth. Also sold me a very sick animal and lied to me about it being captive bred. They later admitted what they had done but refused to appologise and were extremely flippant telling me Oh well thats what happnes. There is also creature comforts I have never bought there only went twice for livefood. There are several more around the Glasgow area sadly none of them I rate much. The forge is horrendous he had his liscence taken off him goodness knows how he is still trading.

There is also Strictly Exotics who actually have opened a second shop in Kirkcaldy. They stock CB/ wc/ cf everyhting however is clearly labeled and they are very honest about where each animal comes from which in my books says a lot.

I agree about the Scottish breeders suggestion. I breed and sell crested geckos ( and I am in Glasgow) as does biohazard ( anna) on here who is in Edinburgh however I am guessing you are possibly meaning leopard geckos.
I know shiftylou had some leos but again she is up in dundee however what you save not buyng at pet shop prices would more than cover your travelling costs.
