Default Fat Tail Thin Tail

Bouht a fat tail for christmas last year, was a little small at only 30g for an adult male but thats what drew me too him!

Since then he's given me nothing but trouble, never settled in well, never ate properly and he refused to get any bigger, or eat regularly.

There's nothing whatsoever wrong with him, he's just a real fussy little that likes to make his mum worry!

Now after a few months of struggling, and an intense few weeks of syringe feeding after he began to fast completely and plummeted to 15g..

He's eating regularly!

We had to drop him from a 18ltr RUB to a 14ltr RUB, put EcoEarth in as he does not like newspaper, lino or kitchen roll.
He will only eat size 3 crickets, and they cannot be dusted either, as he does not like the taste of calcium! So he's having to get liquid multivitamins.

Here he is, looking a lot better and bright eyed and generally a hell of a lot more active too!

I know it's not a big success, but I wanted to share it because its made me REALLY happy, especially his gradual increase over the past few weeks to the five crickets that he ate last night and three this morning!
