Default Snails.....good food for lizards? as staple?

hi all, im looking for some good staples, ive got a turkistan roach colony, going to get some dubia roaches, obviously crickets will be a big part, but im looking to get some Giant African land snails, and i want to know if they make a good staple? and are the shells easy for lizards to digest?

My Tegu loves GALS, he doesn't take in the shell though, I crack it for him so all he gets is the nice juicy meats ^_^

I try to avoid staples as such and just try to vary it as much as possible but GALS Are an excellent addition to any feeding although some species will struggle with the shells.

Toothpick and a good eye for winkling with the bigger ones youll proberly have to bash them open with a rock and peel the shells off but itll work on the smaller snails.

thanks , cabt wait to start breeding them should be fun, i know alot of people get over run with them, but i doubt there is any chance of that happening, with 3 basilisks, 4 beardies, 2 tokays, 1 junglerunner, to feed lol
