Default Anyone a good care sheet for blue tongued skinks?

After my last post trying to work out a new lizard for my son he seems to like the look of skinks. Are blue tongued the most placid? does anyone know of a good care sheet so I can find out all about them before getting one. Thanks

They are fantastic animals and very friendly yes!

Here is a very detailed care sheet everything you need should be here:
Detailed Blue Tongue Skink Caresheet - BlueTongueSkinks.NET

I advise reading the first link but if you want a shorter one, this one is ok but I would say read the first! :P

And make sure you know what species of Bluetongue you're looking for - some make more suitable pets than others!

Unless you want one that's a bit mad and might try to bite you out of fear/threat, I'd recommend avoiding smallish silvery white ones with silvery white front legs (or bright orange-yellow small ones with pale front legs) - the Tanimbar Island ones T. scincoides chimerea are a bit feisty as we've been finding out with our little Pinkskink.

The black-speckly-legged T. gigas are much friendlier, but they are a LOT bigger.

i would dicount the second based on this info it provides - "Adults require 36 x18 inches. This can support up to three animals (1 male, 2 females)."
