Finally she ate!
not sure if i've posted already....
but yesterday my Berber skink ate 2 crix!, i dont thenk she has eaten anything whilst shes been with me, anything i put in her food bowl... still there! she might have eaten a mealworm too... but it might have just crawled out, now i know when shes hungry... shes trying to climb the sides i go over and she sort of stares over at the crix tank, then i get one and she opens her mouth as if to say "FEEEED MEEE!!" the crix i left in there was found having a nice swim in the water dish.... but this is a triuph and a huge releif for me, i have never seen her eating before, also, during her last she some got stuck on one of her claws, and where the blood supply was lost in one of her back toes, its sort of amputtated itself, i thought best leave it, its not seemed to have effecter her in any way, she still wants to climb up my arm and lick my nose in the mornings, but its sort of on one side haning off, theres no blood anymore, it looks like its been professionally done!, i dont want to hurt her so i'm going to leave it to come off on its own, i have to clean her tank today so hopefully she will have something else to eat then... hopefully she will start finding the food and eating for herself not with me giving it to her!! but she does look really healthy this morning, hopefully soo i can see if i can upgrade her tank, and mayb get her a freind!, its my birthday tomorrow so i'll use the money from that, also i've tatally forgotten is it a UV bulb of a UVB bulb i need ot get, and can it go in a strip form?? i also need some more calcium dust, i see another trip to the pet shop! also it is true that they retain most of their dirnking water from thier food?

no there not, they are really easy to care for, live along time, great pets, pixie is around 18 inches, so around full size,

we called her that because it looks like she has pixels on her back!
