Default Sexing my Crested

I had merrick out last night and tried to have a look for pores, as there is no obvious bulge.

He is about 5 grams, and 8-9 months old.

I had a look with a very small magnifying glass. I'm confused as I could only REALLY see one. Smack bang in the middle of the area they are, just a single scale with the dot in.

I have no idea if this is just him developing them, or it could have been a mark on the scale.

According to that, cresteds as small as 4.5g can have a full row of pores.

The underside does look very much like the female picture above.

Thoughts?

I would guess at 5 grams. I haven't really got any scales sensitive enough.

He is probably quite small, only on CGD so probably a bit slower at growing.

so why not feed live.. my babies love to chase live... i know cresties can survive on CGD but i think its minaly suitable for sub-adult sor adults .. little ones do so much better when offered livefoods..
