Heres my new Baby Bearded Dragon and Habitat

His name is Yoshi. (I hope its a him ). He is about 5 weeks old and around 5 and half inches long. Also, i dont feed alot of mini mealies. just put a few mixed with salad. I mainly feed crickets.

And Here are some pics of his 40g Breeder habitat. He is sleeping up at the top of the log on his hammock if you can see him. His basking temp is around 110. That empty bowl is for salad and mini mealworms. I use a 24 inch reptisun 10 tube and that foil you see is my homemade reflector. I can use any advice to make this cage better. Thank You

thanks. I got the cage from a pet store and everything else online at pet mountain.com. and yes even that big wooden log. its very cheap online there.

I wouldn't feed my small dragons mealies at all as they cant digest the chitin properly... it can make them regurgitate.

nice set up though, is that a hammock!? Never thought of that for my reps

one thing i would say hun is put your uv inside the actual tank,and pos cover the sides with a background,i used to have a 4ft glass viv and every dragon i put in it nose rubbed, i ended up covering all along the bottom of the front aswell lol

Agreed, mesh filters out a lot of the U.V.

My young beardie didn't like his (temp.) glass viv either. I guess his reflection bugged him. He's much happier in his new wooden home.

thanks for the replies. How can i hook that big uv fixture inside the tank? any ideas?

think the only way to get it in is cut the mesh hun just put two slits in it enough to put the two ends from the starter thru post them thru then you could use string or wire to tie the slits up agen
edit lol just looked at your pic a bit better can you not fix the whole unit to the inside roof of the mesh hun, iv never seen one of those before looks similar to a fish tank hood,all mine are just normal starters with reflectors
