Default Is bigger always better?

In terms of viv size?

I hear alot of people housing their creties in faunariums and RUBS but mine is in a 3ft high viv, with free roaming cix and a fruit bowl area for CGD

So should I get mine into a smaller tank, or is bigger always better?

I like to give my reps as much room as I can so they can live as close to nature as possible. Having said that I keep mine as pets and not to breed or as a collection. Some people keep there reps as part of a collection so the smaller the space they have to take up with each rep the better. I would say as long as the animals needs are taken care off it is up the the owner. But I like to see mine.

3ft is fine the main problem is them not finding food or being stressed alsong as theyre not stressed and can find there food its all good butthe free roaming crix isnt good cos theyare likely to nibble on your crestie

As long as the cage is setup properly I'd always say that bigger is better. I really can't think of a situation where it would benefit the animal to be put into a smaller enclosure...

I take the crix out i n the daytmie then leave them in over night for the cresties to chase them

I hate the idea of spoon feeding all my pets and being overly cautious, I keep all 4 of my lizards in the most natural enviroments I can

My crestie is in 2ft high exo terra he got plenty to climb on and couple of hides and he loves it always mooching about but as said hun crix need to go I normally offer CGD one night Crix or locusts the next and so on that way you not wasting your CGD and he gets his live as well though I only pop in about 5 crix when I do and he usually gets them all no probs. He enjoys small locusts as well so try mix them in and offer him them one night a week again dusted with calcium and about 4 of them go in he a good eater.

Crix need to go,then you say you put them in yourself? lol

I put a couple of crix in every few days on the nightime, in the viv, not in a bowl and theyre gone in the morning, how is that any different to what you do?
