hey
Most leos dont really eat morio worms are they are pretty huge and their outer shell is VERY hard and can be tough to digest.
There is some debate as to whether or not morio worms are suitable for leos so Id probs avoid them just in case.
Mine never eat them but they'll happily munch on the smaller meal worms
xx

As above mate, all of my leo's love meal worms but the larger morio's are a bit too big for them.

Too be honest these are the sort of questions you would ask the shop or person you were buying the lizard/s from!!!! And NO I have not nor would I ever feed them to a leo, they're too big and will not digest like a meal worm.

Hi, Sorry but I have to disagree. I feed Morios to my ADULT leos (60g +) and find that they love them. The meat : shell ratio is better with morios and the fat content is not so high as mealies. Mine tend to bite the head end first to kill the morio and then enjoy crunching the rest (yuck!). They are easier to get calcium to stick to as well. I find them really good to build up breeding females and most of my Leos love them.

I would not feed them to a 3-4 month old tho as they are too large.

I'd say maybe for an adult. From experience the exoskeleton of a morio worm isn't as thick as a mealworm, morios have more meat to them..well obviously since their big but I mean meat to shell ratio.

Exactlly,

Why just get a shop owners opinions when you can come here and get 100's of opinions.

Precisely, and we all know what pet shop people can be like! if you ask "can my animal eat these" they are more than likely going to say yes. makes much better sense to come on a forum and ask others who keep the same animals!

edit: not all pet shops!!!! I must make this clear.
