you dont need to, however, it isnt advisable to give and small lizard any type of worm, with any worm in it crucial that the lizard crunches and chews its food before swallowing, and its not an urban myth^^^^^^ muppet, it is possible because i have had various customers that have asked the same question before, and one guy that fed his incredibly young beardy wax worms, had to buy another because it basically couldnt chew it properly and the eventuality was that the above happened.

OMG im so worried now.how do u cut the heads off phoenix worms as there sooo small.my beardie is 12 1/2 inches so souldnt i be feeding them worms as last wk people said they were fine to feed my beardie.

Think this is a myth. Much like the BCI that was planning on eating its owner!!
The worms need air to survive and there is no oxygen in a living animals stomach. Also all animals have stomach acid which will kill the worm very fast if its not already dead. IMO its a load of !
