Unhappy Dont know what to do?? (Long post)

OK as you may have seen in previous posts i rescued 6 water dragons a while ago I also too all 6 for a check at the vets. I then put 2 of them in the re homing adds as they had health issues and i put the other male in the classified. Someone from here sent a message enquiring about the 2 in the re homing add asking if the nose rub ment he was deformed for life etc i explained everything to him but also told him i had a healthy male, i spent ages telling him about each dragon an their needs i sent him pics of all 3. He came yesterday to see them and straight away picked the healthy male ( I don't blame him he is stunning) I had a box ready but he said it was too big . He had to go to tesco to get the money and brought back a lunch box about 11" long the dragon is clearly way too small for this he is about 2ft (not exact measurements) so i hunted for a more suitable box and found one he gave me the money and took the lizard.
I then got a text saying are you sure you havent put the wrong dragon in the box i knew i hadn't but checked anyway and he did have the right lizard. Then a few hours later i got a nasty message saying
"Hi again, just to let you know that the WD has got a noticable nose rub. Should have checked him over a bit better really. When you said there was nothing wrong with him, I took your word for it therefor didnt feel there was any need to check him iver before buying him. Im not going to keep him as the nose rub just spoils his otherwise beautiful looks, not sure what to do with him now tbh."
I was horrified and really upset and now worried for the dragon as the poor thing is going to be re homed AGAIN. He did look him over before he left. I assured him when he left my home he didnt have nose rub I know he didnt. He then went on with some nasty e mails accusing me of lying I tried to defend myself getting more and more upset by the accusations. I sent him a pic i took of the dragon 5 days before i sold him but accidentally said it was 2 days before and he pounced on that saying if i could lie about that what else was i lying about. e was saying the nose rub had obviously been there for a long long time then i asked for a pic (ill post a before and after at the end) and yes the mouth is slightly open all i could say is it must have happened on the journey maybe the stress or trying to get out of the box but his mouth was fine when he left here.
I didnt lie about this and im not that type of person. I spent loads of time being honest about the 2 dragons with health issues to anyone interested why would i lie about his health and not the others too??? especially as i was only asking £20 more for the health male it was never about the money I just wanted good homes for them all. He got a stunning PERFECT 4 year old male for £40. Im sorry for the long post but im really upset by this and dont know what to do. I could offer him a refund but i dont think he will take it as he lives quite far away plus i dont really want to see this man again. Im also really worried about the dragon too I just wanted him to have a loving home please help. Pics to follow

Well at the end of the day he didnt have to buy him from you if he wasnt happy with him... 'sold as seen' i believe is the phrase.

From the pic you took yourself it looks as though his mouth is slightly open at the tip and it looks like he once rubbed his nose but its healed well. He is still a beautiful dragon and healed nose rub kept in correct conditions will not cause the dragon any problems at all.

Ive no idea who was telling the truth and whos lied about what - but at the end of the day if he wants to sell him on he will do and is within his rights to do so. You dont have to offer him a refund as he bought the dragon after inspecting him.

If he harasses you call the police. Aside from that - you sold the dragon, so unfortunately its tough if he wants to sell him. Try to ignore everything and just move on.

I would get him back.

This is the forgotten part of rescuing and rehoming. Taking them in and getting them treated is no easy feat, but then neither is finding them the right home.
Animals that need to be rehomed deserve the very best you can find them, they've been through it already, if a man walks into your home and you don't like him from the off, then he shows up with an 11" box for a 2' animal, you refuse him the animal, simple as that.
Irrespective of how far he's driven or how nasty he seems you just refuse to give the animal to that person.

Don't waste your time arguing about nose rub with this guy he may well be a chancer on the look out for a partial refund before he makes more money off this animal by selling it on for more.
Just give him his money back and get the animal back to yours.

Yeah...Get him back if you can. Meeting up with this guy again and dealing with him, giving him the money back etc, is worth the life of the dragon. At least you will know he is okay. If you're worried, take a friend with you...Infact I would probably advise you do so anyway.
Hope all works out ok

A little off topic, but why are CWDs so prone to nose rubs? Are AWDs and mountain horned dragons the same?

As for the guy you rescued, I would go and collect it. I wouldnt want an idiot looking after anything I have spent time looking after.

it happens when they constantly rub their nose off the glass trying to get out of an enclosure that is too small for them as they don't understand glass very well. if in a large enough enclosure they are less likely to do this as they will be content to play where they are. they will understand eventually tho as mine have and only come to the glass when they know i'm there to let em out for a run about.

as for AWD's and that i dont know as i've never kept em before.

and unfortunately my female has worse nose rub than that. don't stop her being a greedy bugger tho!
