When receptive they have bright blue spots. It is best to wait until she is at least a year old before breeding - egg production draws calcium from the bones and you don't want this if she is still growing herself.
When Lily was receptive she would wander the cage and not eat for a few days too. I am yet to experience Amy being receptive - she's 6 months now and is still very green. I only get the occasional glimpse of brown/rust colouring, and no blue as yet. Here's a very unflattering pic of Lily's back end when she was receptive/borderline gravid with infertiles.
