ackies. get to about 2 feet. sociable. active. fairly handleable. you could keep about 3 in a 6x2 viv. as they are so active though, the largest viv size you can give is better. a 6x3 would be better for a trio.

Ackies are great dwarf monitors, but they are very active and love running and climbing as well as digging and burying themselves too. The only thing they seem to dislike is bathtime. You could get away with keep 1 in a 4x2x2 but they are sociable animals and prefer to be in groups (you can keep males together, I've even heard of people succesfully keeping reverse trios) so yep a 6x2 would be heaven for them!

I've got what i think is 2 males n they have there moments but are generally ok together but the guy i got them off had them with another and they ganged up on the third one, but only these 2 had grown up together and were introduced to the other.

Mine are in a 4x1.5x1.5 viv on top of a 3x1.5x1.5 viv with a hole connecting the 2 and they use all that space and would prob easily use more.
