Default Breeding leos?

hi guys

today i put my striped bold designer to my female normal

he wrattles his tail a few times and then my female sort of twitches or jumps in a way and ive never seen him run so fast to the other end of the viv

could he be a bit weird because the female is a bit bigger than him and also they have been together before but we think the female was already gravid

any help would be appreciated

cheers

kieran

Proably better to wait for next year.......

Not really the right time of year for breeding - try again in the spring. How old are they? If he is young then it may be that he is intimidated by an older female. By next year he may have "caught up" with her in size. Then when you indroduce them do it on neutral ground.

I would not put 2 different sized Leos together myself. I would not put 1 male with only 1 female either. You may find that he gets bullied (you know what girls are like lol). Or you may find that he pesters her for sex (you know what boys are like). Seriously you will need to keep a very close eye on them.

*nods* either way there's a chance of having at least one of them getting stressed to one degree or another ~ personally I don't think it's worth the risk or hassle/stress
