Default planted vivs

Hi all

I'm thinking of planting up my crested gecko viv,
what sort of plants can i use or not use?

ive got ficus benjamin in mine. porthos is another you can use. search through previous threads there are quite a few on planted vivs

I find ficus to be very hardy and virtually impossible to kill. I've used it in many setups and have found the only problem with it is that it grows too quickly!
I have also used pothos with cresties before which they really seemed to like as the leaves were quite large and provided many hiding places.

Birds nest ferns are good too. Also dracaena and devils ivy (NOT English Ivy)

Orchids are safe to use, but are usually pretty delicate and won't grow unless in optimum conditions. I doubt very much that they could put up with the weight of cresties bouncing on them either.

Bromeliads are another good choice.
