tegu or bosc
hi im a first time lizard keeper and work in a reptile shop so i have alot of knowledge but i am wondering, whats the best, a argentinian black and white tegu or a bosc monitor

I've had both, still have the bosc.
My tegu went mental when he hit about 3ft long and I could no longer look after him without endangering myself so I chose to rehome him to someone with more monitor experience. The bosc is a darling, he's not big on being handled but they aren't really meant for cuddling! So I vote bosc

boscs hands own i am biased though i do have 4 and slowly adding more to my collection

Oh yeah, one reason I like tegus over boscs....
Tegus should be fed fruit and vegetables as well as insects, which makes the cost of the livefood a bit lower.
