gave him a bath this morning and followed your advise, i also gently rubbed his nostril with a damp cotton bud. his nostril has half unblocked but there is still more shed to be removed so i shall keep doing this until its cleared up. thanks for your help

Hiya Mate boscs are one of the worst shedders, and can take upto about thirty or so days to shed.
Boscs can have regular bathing, i never have mine higher than shoulder level, and also put something in the bath (rock)for them to rest on.
