sat here reading this thread with my OH sat beside me, she hit upon a great idea, would your g/f have loads of pairs of shoes by any chance? shoes that take up loads of room and barely get worn!? i say put her shoe collection up for ransome! if she can have room for shoes then u can have room for beardies!!
 also plan would work with anything else i.e. clothes etc lolhope you manage to get your way and she warms to the idea of reps.

Gosh I have my Whites Tree Frogs calling all night next to my side of the bed,my hubby loves me so he wears ear plugs

yes i agree compromises are a must but i also agree with everyone else too, im lucky cos both me and the OH are reptile mad and it does really help when you share your passion together. i think if you get something you have to hide then you wont get to enjoy it and when she does find it will you have to get rid again!? and its undue stress to you and the animals in question, just a thought!

what a laugh you can have on here. do agree it was only a beardie anyone would think it was the worlds largest spider.would let my hubby get anything apart from a spider but he hates spiders too anyway.but then im probably not a good person to comment on this as i love every rep i see and never say no even to the kids but thats fine coz im the one to feed them and clean them and care for them. would have told her its my beardie i clean and feed it you dont have to go near it.glad you didnt have a collection.

Nope...wouldnt go along with that,
I moved in with my OH, he understood that I am an animal nut, and I dont subscribe to the "one pet at a time" thing. If she has made you give up your reps, then what else is she going to make you give up? Drinking? Burping? Mates?

cant believe yougave up your beardie tomove in ,if it was me I would have gave up your gf my hubby knows that like it or not the reps are here to stay and if he doesnt like it he knows where the door is .I wouldnt give my lizards up for anyone
