Hey folks, rather than getting wound up about responses to a question (either way), let's just encourage the OP to get the leo to a vet....

Agree wholeheartedly with several comments and as usual Mal is spot on in his assessment/advice. Definitely looks like there is a vent problem for some reason and the leo does look thin and underweight. However that can't be fixed now so it needs checking by a rep vet and following their advice. Personally I wouldn't hold out too much hope for this poor little Leo and I would hope it's a good example of why owners should always ensure they can cope with the unexpected...

I can see why some of the guys are annoyed by the way the leo has got into such a state, I'm sure many people would have felt the need for advice/vet sooner, but if the OP is inexperienced unfortunately the problem may not be so obvious...

let us know anyway how you get on at the vets... good luck.

Vet a.s.a.p. Needs a good reptile vet though to stand any chance. What area are you in?
