Congratulations! We have also had another hatch this morning.

I wouldn't worry about the other egg, it is very likely it is also close to hatching. I would recommend waiting until the hatchling has shed before transfering it to its new tank, it will most likely do this in the first few hours- to a day.

Thats the million dollar question I'm afraid. Unfortunately it varies quite a lot, I wouldn't expect it to be more than a week though, and it all probablility it will be within the next couple of days.

If you are worried for the future you can pin the eggs in place onto polystyrene (obviously don't puncture them, but a pin either side of the join will keep them still).

I don't generally worry about eggs now, I sometimes get a little impatient, but they will hatch when they're ready...

Congratulations! She's a beauty. I had my first ever gecko eggs hatch recently (cresties), and it is very nerve racking. I am hoping to have my first baby day geckos next season

The second egg has hatched
the second baby is now fully out although still has bits of its egg shell stuck to it so have dubbed it 'egg'

so we now have 2 baby geckos dubbed 'baby gecko' & 'egg' as we don't want to give them proper names and get too attached to them

my poor OH has only seen my not so good pics as he's away with work so he can't wait to get home on thursday

introducing egg
