look in lizard section under care sheets, read a care sheet on them then come back and ask any questions the majority of them will be answered in a care sheet, and price wise they need live food, salads, calcium and cleaning out for about 10years say £5 a week for 10years

I have just got a bearded dragon, and this caresheet has been the most helpful.

yeah it's fine, though an idea would be to make a wooden divider. So you can create a 2ft long viv for a little one, then extent it to 3 ft, then take it out so it's 4ft.

Wood wise I think anything bar pine is ok... I think pine is the only wood which has toxic resin.

yea pretty much

2) Are thay expensive to keep (after gettin viv, ect? )

Not really but bear in mind vets bills (if needed) and around £5-£8 a week in food

3) What size of tank is best for a first time owner and noob? (will just have 1dragon if i decide to get it.)

The bigger the better but a 4ft tank 2 ft high and 2 ft wide minimum, for a baby you could do above and just section it off, or just keep it as 4ft (dosent make much diffrence)
4) What do thay need to stay alive, such as food type, general heat, ect?

The care sheet will help with that, but u will need a UV LIGHT, A BASKING LIGHT (A ordinary asda bulb will do) a thermometer (digital one) a food bowl, substrate (stay away from sand with a baby) and some decor (stones / wood etc)
They will eat crickets / locusts / mealworms and a made up "greens" bowl

5) How long do thay live?

if you look after well up2 9 years

Jas.

With regards building your own, its sooooooo easy...

Work out the dimensions u want and the design, then simply go to B&Q and use "CONTI BOARD" B&Q will cut the pieces to size for you (free, or 50p a cut), then u can either get the glass or use perspex (also available from B&Q) Get some runners for the glass from ebay and simply screw it all together (takes 30mins)
ALL IN ALL that way u get exactly what u want !
I just built a 5ft long, 5.5 ft high and 2ft deep for £90, went to B&Q in the morn, by dinner it was all built !

let me know if u need anything else
