Default blue tail monitor not feeding

he is cb jan 09 got him late june basking temps are 110 f humidity 65-70 has only been handled 3 times as he doesnt like it
stopped eating crickets recently and is laying on his back

HELP

I would up his basking spot to 130 apart from that bit of advice i suggest a good herp vet if he is laying on his back , that dousent bode well mate

They're generally not so good at being handled. If it's gone off the bugs try rodents. Like MM said get the hot spot up but if it's on its back that is not good for its breathing at all.

Trip to the vets.

If it gets better try not to handle it for a month or so.

When i used to run the shop and we had these and peach throats,if they wouldnt feed on livefoods or rodents,i used to use fish chopped up and sometimes prawns to get them going.
As for lying on his back would seek profesional advice from a good herp vet

too late he died last night with a hole in his belly

thanx guys, dont know bout the hole though i did see a flavi on redtailed boa.net with the same thing
